Description
In the final chapter the world speeds up. The Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, the Modern era – four ages where the name no longer tells you who rules, but what people think, build and believe.
We’ll ask why anyone called it the Dark Ages, and why historians stopped. We’ll watch printing change who is allowed to know things. We’ll meet the Industrial Revolution not as a list of inventions but as the thing that changed what an ordinary life looked like. And we’ll end on the question nobody can answer with certainty: when does the age we’re living in actually begin?
Archaeology, art, science and story. Classes are for ages 6-14, and the level is geared towards the audience
This class is part of The Museum Guy’s Homeschool History Course – weekly bilingual Zoom classes on Jewish history, archaeology and world history, plus monthly in-person museum meetups around Israel, taught by Nachliel Selavan.
