VIP Private Clients — DRAFT (restructure preview)

The Israel Museum Is Vast. A Private Guide Makes It Unforgettable.

For travelers who want to understand Israel, not simply visit it.

A few thoughtful hours in the right room, with the right person — designed entirely around you.

A private VIP tour at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York

Most visitors to Israel arrive with a question rather than an itinerary: how does one place hold so much history, and how do I begin to understand it? My answer is not to chase sites. It is to spend a few thoughtful hours in the right room, with the right person.

In three hours you can trace ten thousand years. In half a day you can walk out of a gallery understanding why Jerusalem matters — not because you were told, but because you saw the evidence. This is an invitation to experience Israel the way I believe it is best understood: through its two most remarkable museums, on a private tour shaped entirely around you.

The Museum Guy difference

A tailored narrative. Before we meet, I learn what draws you here — family history, faith, art, archaeology, politics, food — and I design a route through the collection that speaks to it. No two tours are the same.

Private and unhurried. Your group, your pace. No rushing crowds, no being herded past the highlights. We pause where you want to pause, and we move when you are ready.

Depth over breadth. Great museums can exhaust the willing; I protect you from that. You will see less than a tourist rushing through — and understand far more.

Scholarly, but never dry. My guiding has been shaped over many years for sophisticated audiences — a method I call sTOURytelling™: history told as a continuous, character-driven narrative that brings the objects to their feet.

Fully concierge. Entry, transport, timing, refreshments, add-ons — all arranged in advance. You arrive, and everything is already in place.

Beyond the galleries

For travelers who want the museum to anchor a fuller day, I compose the hours around it. A curated refreshment break — Jerusalem pastries and specialty coffee, a boutique Israeli wine and cheese plate, or a seasonal tasting — chosen in advance to your taste. Private transport door to door. Catering coordination with advance notice.

And, where the day allows, an add-on chosen for the light and the quiet: a walk through the Old City at golden hour, a private culinary tour of Mahane Yehuda with tastings at selected stalls, a conversation with a curator or scholar (subject to availability), or an evening return to the Western Wall tunnels or the Tower of David at night.

The travelers I guide expect — and receive — discretion. Names are not displayed. Photographs are used only with explicit permission, and only where faces can be obscured.

In recent years I have guided private tours for ambassadors and embassy staff, executives and corporate leadership, founders and public figures, and families for whom a tour in Israel is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. I am happy to discuss prior experience and offer references in confidence on request.

For agents, managers, and concierge partners

If you are arranging a private tour on behalf of a client — agent, personal assistant, corporate event coordinator, luxury travel advisor, hotel concierge — I am set up to work directly with you.

I am familiar with the cadence of high-end itinerary planning: short lead times, dietary and accessibility briefs, NDAs where required, a single point of contact in the time zone of the trip. I provide a one-page tour brief in advance, a final confirmation 48 hours before, and a discreet follow-up after the visit.

Inquiries from agents and concierges are welcomed. Please mention your role and your client’s preferences in the form, and I will respond within one business day.

For organizations and diaspora groups

When a JNF mission, Israel Bonds group, synagogue trip, or federation delegation puts the Israel Museum on their itinerary, a general visit rarely delivers what the organizer hoped for. The space is vast, the noise is real, and the connection to why your group came here — the history, the land, the story — can get lost in the crowd.

A private VIP tour at the Israel Museum changes that entirely. I design a route through the collection that speaks directly to your group’s purpose: their relationship to Israel, their community’s story, the artifacts that make that story tangible. The hour your group spends in the galleries becomes something they go home and talk about.

I work regularly with synagogue missions, federation delegations, Israel Bonds groups, alumni and donor visits, day school and university groups, and corporate Israel programs. Skip-the-line access, a custom narrative, coordinated logistics, and catering coordination (with advance notice) are all available. Please mention your organization, group size, and approximate dates in the form.

What guests say

“I recently had the pleasure booking a private tour of the Israel Museum in Jerusalem guided by Nachliel. As someone with a background in ancient history and many years experience as a private tour guide in Rome, I was looking for a guide that could provide not just detail but the fun anecdotes and hidden histories which bring everything to life. Nachliel understood instinctively the type of information and delivery I was after and 3 hours flew by. I learnt so much about the Jewish context of the ancient world and it was so inspiring to be able to bounce information off such a well-informed and highly energetic colleague. I can recommend Nachliel to anyone – from kids to adults – from beginners to experts. Toda Nachliel!”
