We begin the Jewish Year with the high holidays: Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, followed by Sukkot. These are the Festivals of Tishrei, the beginning of the Jewish year, and the 7th month of the Jewish holiday calendar. Funny how that works, right?
Join me on a fun, deep and entertaining series of classes and virtual tours, which will enrich your appreciation and understanding of the Jewish calendar. We will explore different aspects of these holidays and the Jewish calendar through virtual tour to archaeological sites in Israel and around the world, and through examining art, artifacts and concepts in agriculture and history.
